IMPORTANT: These Terms of Service are subject to change at any time, and when any change is made a notice will be placed on the website for 1 week.
I. General Rules
A. Unfair Advantages. You will not attempt to gain an unfair advantage in any way. This includes, but is not limited to hacking, packet spoofing, and using 3rd party software.B. Bans. You acknowledge that your account may be suspended even if you did not breach the Terms of Service. Staff members have the right to ban you at their sole discretion. If you disagree with their decision to ban you, you may post on the forums appealing the ban.
C. Impersonation. You must not try to impersonate any member of the staff in any way.
D. Chat. You must refrain from foul and offensive language. You must not try to avoid the chat filter. You may also be punished for spam, at a staff member's sole discretion.
E. Your advertisements. You must not advertise any websites in the game. You may do so in the Off Topic section of the forum. Certain, major websites are allowed, such as YouTube, CNN, ABC, Google and the like. You agree that you are risking your account when saying ANY website, as these allowed websites are determined by the staff at their discretion. You may appeal a ban; make sure to state which website you said. Then, I, Daz will make the final judgement.
F. Our advertisements. You must not try to block advertisements or avoid the Ad Block detector. This game is free, and ads are the only source of revenue.
G. Glitches. You will not try to exploit glitches in the game. If you happen to find a glitch, immediately report it on the forums and refrain from exploiting it.
H. Account sharing/hacking. You are allowed to share accounts with a few warnings. You must understand that any action under your account is your responsibility. If you give your friend your password you will be held responsible for the actions he does. You may not try to appeal a ban because you lent your account to someone else. The above also goes for being "hacked". It is strongly advised to create a strong password, and to avoid phishing websites. I may or may not help you if you are hacked.
I. You must not annoy the staff in any way. This includes taunting, asking for items, or repeatedly spamming them for any reason.
J. Multiple accounts. You are allowed to have multiple accounts as long as they do not interact in any way.
K. Scamming and phishing. You must not attempt to scam anyone from any of their possessions. This includes tricking them to follow you into a dangerous area, or trying anything to get their password or security answer.
II. Online Conduct
You must behave in a polite, kind manner online. Any harassment, spam, etc may result in punishment. If you follow someone around to purposely annoy them, you will be punished. Your punishment is a staff member's decision, and you may appeal a ban if you feel so.III. Glitches
From time to time glitches may appear in the game. You must not exploit any glitches that you find. Please post a bug report on the forums, or if the glitch is bad enough, send a personal message on the forums to Daz.IV. Donations
Donations may be collected for additional services in the game or on the website. You agree that if you later decide to retract a donation, your account may be permanently banned until you repay the amount. Now, this may seem a little harsh, but it is because most donations received go towards improving and keeping the services online. If services are payed for with your donation, only to have it retracted later, a bit of a problem arises.V. Damages and indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold King of Lands, its creator, employees, volunteers, and affiliates harmless for any damages to any device from all liabilities, claims and expenses; incuding attorney's fees.Any breach of these Terms may result in a temporary or permanent ban. All code, images, design, and other content is copyright Matthew Shaffer and anyone listed on the Credits/Staff page for their creations. You may not use any images or other content without the express permission of the owners.
